I don't think early is necessarily better, but I'd avoid waiting until the absolute deadline in December/January.

OP here,
I am not going to apply before I attend the open house, but they have 2 open houses. One earlier and one later.

It can matter for schools that schedule interviews only after they have received an application because they can run out of slots.

Does it matter when you submit your application (ie.. first date vs before the deadline) ? I am debating about if I have to go to first open house or if I can wait to the next one which would better fit my schedule.
