I've been using this one for years: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/MADAME-QUICHES-QUICHE-AU-FROMAGE-15850

When I have the time, I make the crust from scratch but I've also used the Pillsbury crust and it's still really good.

We use Alton Brown's recipe. It's very easy and yummy.

Some may look down on this because it contains Bisquick *gasp!*, but I guarantee it won't get thrown in the trash. It's delicious. It's a crustless quiche; the Bisquick makes a crust while it bakes.

You need

1 1/3 c milk
3 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/3 c grated cheese (whatever kind you like; gruyere or cheddar work best)

oven to 400 degrees

whirl all the above ingredients in a blender

spray the pie plate with non-stick spray

scatter whatever other ingredients (mushrooms, ham, bacon, other veggies, whatever) in the pie plate

pour the liquid mixture in the pie plate

bake for 30-40 mins till set

This may be too simple for you if you are a true quiche lover, but it's our go for regular dinners - for some reason my two young kids love it. We typically make two at a time so we can be sure to have leftovers.

Pie crust from Whole Foods (or you could make your own of course, but I don't!)
Whisk five eggs in a bowl and add a bit of salt and pepper as well as cayenne pepper, and pinch of nutmeg

Add a tablespoon flour, tablespoon mayo, quarter cup of cream, and half a teaspoon baking powder. Add frozen spinach (10 ounces thawed/drained) and I like adding cheddar.

Bake for half an hour.

I'm sure you will get fancier suggestions.

I love quiche and order it often at restaurants but for the life of meaverage not been able to master one at home. They always come out mediocre at best but usually so bad that they get tossed in the trash. Please help!
