Pretty name. One L, but either looks good. It's one of those names I might have to look up and make sure I'm spelling it right. My BIL is Philippe and I can't ever remember if there's 2 Ls in there either.

I love this name OP! I'd do one "L".

I am not sure which one would be the proper spelling, but the name is beautiful.

One L. But I’d pronounce either spelling “cah-LET” and think any other pronunciation is ugly...would people really choose to say “Coal-ette” like colon? Gross.

The French Colette was one L (and it was her last name). Toni Collette (from Australia) is two Ls (and it's her last name too).

I love that name! Either spelling is lovely. But serious, OP, that is a great choice for a name!

I think one L is standard. I agree with 9:44 about pronounciation.

One l is better.

I'd want to pronounce Collette like CAH let.

Collette looks better to me. That's the spelling I would choose. But, as I was typing, my phone's word predictor suggested Colette. So maybe that is the more standard spelling?

Which spelling would you assume most people would easily use? I like both but is one more common or more difficult for others to spell correctly?
