Subject: Treadmill use
I wish i'd bought one when DC was an infant. Another option is a "trainer" for your bike- turns your bike into a stationary bike - good to have both so you can change up and relieve boredom. I like a treadmill that has a steep incline option- gets me warmed up fast.

OP Here. I used to be a runner, marathons and all. I am very active (ski, tennis, hike...), but no real cardio. I'm hoping the treadmill will get me back into a cardio routine and it won't become a clothes hangar.

DH uses it only during bad weather, but detests it otherwise. He much prefers jogging outside.

Agree with another poster. If you are already a runner then you will probably use it. If you think this is thr answer to your dreams, it will probably be an expensive and ugly home furnishing.

We have used ours a lot over the past 2 years (since we bought it). It's great when we want to run after dark or in bad weather.

We've had ours a little over a year. DH has consistently used it 3-4x/week to run. I walk on it for a few hours most weeknights as an improvised treadmill-desk. I also want to get back into actual running, just hasn't happened consistently yet. With our schedules and with the early sunsets, though, there's no way I'd ever run in winter without the treadmill.

Every. Single. Morning. But for my treadmill, I would never have time to exercise. I've been doing it for so many years I've lost count - and never had to replace the treadmill. Great investment.

If you are already a runner, you are more likely to use it. if you purchased it to get going, you will probably need to also listen to music or place a TV in front of it.
