PP here--It was and we did it. Again, biggest waste ever. Nothing against Teri, but she acted like my kid's sensory issues were just ruling his world, when in actuality the stuff she asked him to do at just 15 months of age was very bizarre for even me and he HATED every minute of working with her (and this is a kid who loved all their therapists). Anyhow, he outgrew all the things she said we needed twice weekly therapy for in a few months time. Glad we went with our gut on that one and didn't pursue it.

No, Anne was wonderful. But after the Teri ordeal, we just focused on her stuff and ignored the recs for other services she often gave.

Anne Reynolds is amazing! I am a client and I can't tell you how much we value her opinion and are grateful for the work she is doing with our child. Especially after working with some if the terrible SLPs through early intervention, You realize the difference when you meet a talented professional who cares about your child and is really making progress. I Couldn't recommend anyone higher. Im not sure if she is taking new clients, but call her and chat just to see. If she is not available I would ask anne for a referral for another SLP. I would completely trust anyone that Anne would recommend.

We had a really good experience with Anne, and I would use her again too. One thing though is that she tends to push other therapies that I find to be a little out there, like she insisted on doing an intensive OT for 2 weeks with someone else at ITS to help sensory issues affecting speech and eating. It was the biggest waste of time ever. She also was constantly trying to get us to do craniosacral therapy, for which there is no research showing it helps at all and some even saying it's unsafe for young kids. I always politely declined or said we'd look into it, but she persisted. So, if you ignored that kind of stuff, I'd say she was great for speech (but not really so much for feeding).

Looking for a speech therapist for DD. I've seen good things about Anne Reynolds on DCUM but was hoping to hear more recent experiences? Good or bad?
