Lots of great hotel restaurants very close by (right off the Mall on Pennsylvania Ave.) - W Hotel's J&G Steakhouse, Willard's Cafe Du Parc. I second Chef Geoff's. The others are a bit of walk (except Old Ebbitt).

Or if you don't mind walking, Hill Country. Only if the BBQ is worth the walk for you.

You'll have to walk a few blocks whatever you choose. Try Hard Rock or Central.

DD and I are going to go see the Washington Monument lit up for the second to last night tonight. Any restaurant recommendations that won't need reservations or one I can make now. Not very fancy as we'll be be wearing jeans and comfy shoes and possibly looking like tourists.
