if it is their own forum, it would be less likely to validate since they would not be showing off to others. No one goes on other forums unless they need to. That is why the private school forum was good. Public school parents never go there and don't have to hear the bragging. Same with the AAP, that gets the bragging down to just those who care.

These requests come up periodically and, I'm pretty sure that years ago we had a home schooling forum for a short time. The best way to get a forum is to post enough in the Schools and Education General Discussion to show that there is traffic enough to support a forum. Currently, I'm not convinced a forum is necessary.
