Might also be possible that the food couldn't be served b/c it didn't conform to the allergy regulations (nut, soy, dairy, etc) or was homemade when it has to be store-bought and in its original container. Or any one of those rules that are easily forgotten or dismissed.

But it is worth asking, but ask in way that you can better serve the group next time, not accusing them of stealing something.

Did your son actually ask the staff or is that just his assumption because he didn't see it. You didn't say how old he is. Is it possible the item just disappeared quickly before he got to choose? If a staff member actually said it, I would follow up with them.

Was it for school? I'm confused who's stealing the food. I'd encourage your kids to ask where the food is that they brought in

So twice in the last 7 days I was asked to contribute a treat or entree for pot luck kid oriented events and both times the staff either ate the items before the formal event or kept the treats for themselves. What is up with that? I certainly understand that they should be included in the feasting but these events are billed as "for the kids/ families" and then my items dont even make the table. Today, My kids were kind of bummed that the stuff we made for their Halloween party wasn't shared with the other kids... My son told me the staff decided to take them home for themselves. I guess I should be flattered that they like my stuff.... But come on! Am I being silly about this or what?
