Subject: What are MAP scores used for?
our school does nothing with these scores, except using them to target kids likely to be on the cusp of MSA basic/proficient cut. they target those kids for basic intervention to try to get them to proficient.

At our school they offer enrichment based on the scores.

Subject: What are MAP scores used for?
We just got DD's MAP=R and MAP-M scores this week. What does the school do with these scores? Kids have been in math and reading groups for weeks. Do they use the scores to reassess group placement? Or is this like the Inview GT testing - they are required to test, but not required to do anything with the results?
