Agree that is outdated advice. I did not rest in any way and had a successful pregnancy.

I did the bedrest w/ my fresh transfer and it failed. By the time we got to frozen transfer I just went about my normal business pretty much.

Twins from that one.

You'll be fine. Good luck!

I went about my business as usual. Did not do a workout or anything. Had a beautiful baby boy.

No I did not do this. I think that's actually really outdated advice. Google bed rest after IVF. It doesn't really help and some studies show it actually hurts. I specifically asked my RE about bed rest recommendations and he said he thinks taking it easy is most important after retreival when your ovaries are enlarged and tender. After transfer, he said bed rest doesn't really make a difference.

My clinic called for modified bed rest on the day of transfer. I would generally take it easy on the day of transfer and didn't lift anything super heavy. And I went back to normal the following day. I also had a toddler. Pregnant now with #2.

Thank you! There's definitely been a lot of tv and iPad in our house today!

U will be fine just take it easy. Keep ur heart rate low. Lie on the couch while ur toddler watches tv. Cook easy meals. Stay home. Go to bed early. I was in same boat and it all worked out

Nope, and I lifted my 30lb toddler. Due any day now.

Just had my FET yesterday, and the nurse strongly encouraged 24 hours of complete bed rest, specifically no lifting anything over 20 pounds, then very limited activity for 2-3 days. This was no problem 3 years ago when I did IVF, but I now stay at home with a very active 2 year old and the idea of laying in bed all day is both a dream and a joke. If you did FET, did you strictly follow the bed rest? I am limiting my activity, but I still need to make his food, change him, pick him up for nap, etc. Thanks for any input!
