Huh? Since when is it not okay on this forum to criticize FCPS? My gosh, I know the marketing they do is that it's just the very best district in the whole world, but not all of us are so enraptured. Are you unable to comprehend that another area might have better schools? Enough of the FCPS Kool Aid for you.
And yes, I specified AAP-type programs were my interest, since "better" is vague, subjective, and would vary from family to family, depending what you're looking for. Some one else's idea of "better" schools might be schools with more arts and music offerings, schools with stronger sports, schools with foreign language components, schools known for great special needs program, etc.
FYI, the snowflake metaphor is beyond hackneyed and no longer achieves the cutting, witty derision you seek to effect.
