Put the pasta in to cook. Saute the veggies in olive oil and garlic, if you have it. Add the shrimp. Cook until almost done, sprinkle with Italian seasoning, red pepper (if you like heat), etc. Add lemon juice or white wine and a pat of butter. Cook until shrimp is completely cooked.

Drain the pasta, then coat with a little olive oil.

Serve the veggies and shrimp over the pasta. Grate some parmesan over it, if you have it.

A favorite in our house, if you happen to have the right ingredients is cherry tomatoes and shrimp over creamed spinach. Saute or roast the tomatoes with garlic and thyme until they start to burst. Add the shrimp, cook until the shrimp is cooked through. Serve over creamed spinach (either frozen and cooked in microwave, or fresh, sauteed before cooking the tomatoes and "creamed" with cream cheese).

I did it, yummy, thanks!

I only ever cook shrimp 2 ways:

Satay in garlic-butter sauce and serve over pasta

Grill with a citrus herb rub and serve on skewers over rice

I love Giada Dilaurentiis' recipe for Shrimp Fra Diavolo. It calls for basic ingredients but is amazing. Just google it.

I don't want to shop today. At home, I have shrimp, whole grain pasta, veggies and a variety of spices. Any creative ideas for dinner based on my ingredients would be great. Thanks.
