Subject: What's U Miami's (Fla) reputation these days?
Think its considered to be an expensive party school with a lot of rich flashy kids from the Northeast. I would not allow my kids to apply there.

The Miami area is poised to boom and "The U" (that's what they call it) is moving up along with the area. Great for bilingual students.

I think kids like it....its still a glorified party school, fun for the sports....there are a lot of drugs (I know all schools have them) but with proximity to Miami it makes it "easier"r

Yes, they're both ranked in the 40s now. So you'd say the U is trending up?
