I gave up on finding an RE that I "liked" long ago (not that I've so much as spoken to my RE at SG since the initial consult). I know that they're a business in business to make money. But I do expect them to care, just a little. There are lots of ways to make money. If you don't care about women and men w/ IF, why go into that business? SURELY there are easier ways to make money.
I've been w/ SG for over a year, paid $30k, and my nurse still can't manage to remember my spouse's name?! Granted, there are a lot of us. I get that. But I also work in a business that depends on clients to survive and I try to remember things about my clients and their businesses so I don't seem like a f***ing idiot when they call. Look at my f***ing chart before you send me an email, get my spouse's name, and then email me. The consent forms? Why the h*** would I pay you $30k if I didn't consent to the procedure?
Sorry, I just wanted to get that out. I know it's a little thing. But when you're shot-up w/ hormones, trying to have a baby after a long, tremendously hard battle w/ IF, you want someone to f***ing give a damn. Or at least pretend to. At this point, I'd be happy if they'd just pretend to care.
An honest question...why are you still going there? There are other clinics. I went to GW for 2 kids and I still email occassionally with my nurse, who I had a wonderful relationship with and was really my rock during the whole process. I used Dr. Dayal (now gone) and Dr. Frankfurther (who is still there) who were both very personally invested in my case and great doctors.
