It doesn't look like it matters now, with a deal close. But the reroute was for the Army Ten Miler, the reports for the MCM were that it was too long to reroute and would have to be cancelled/postponed. Again, it looks like that won't be an issue.

Heard on WNEW that the guy in charge of the race said that they plan to hold the race. They have made alternative route plans along 110 if the government is still shutdown. Not ideal, but he said that they have altered the route before once when there was a package bomb threat so they have plans in place if necessary.

They made an announcement on their facebook page that they will make their decision by Saturday. That being said, it looks like a deal is being made and government should re-open soon.

I heard it might be cancelled due to shutdown and much of course is on NP property. Anyone with any inside info?
