I was paying 40 a month at the germantown location before it closed. They also closed the Chevy Chase location prior to that so I think WSC is going through financial difficulties, but I loved the gym and had to cancel because there was none around that was convienient.

Also depends on whether you want access to all clubs, only one (and which one) and/or during peak hours. I pay around 65 for Bethesda.

DH pays $31. His friend pays $47. For the same membership- he had Fitness First which was $29 a month so he got them to 'match' the price but it went up $2 the last year. Negotiation is everything.
