depends on where you get warm. My core is always the warmest part of my body and my arms are the coldest. So arm warmers would work best for me. Things like a vest are useless to me as then my core just overheats.

I have a Pearl Izumi jacket I bought at Fleet Feet in Adams Morgan a couple of years ago. I bought it for running and love it. The sleeves zip off and are stored in a pouch within the jacket. paid $100. This is the closest I could find.

I have used arm earners for cycling. But usually take them off after 10 mins. BBC it gets hot.

R&J in Rockville has a good selection. I have never used arm warmers, but I just picked up a pair this fall to use for cycling and later on I may try them for running. I like my Sugoi jacket that has arms that come off -- no zippers, just magnets! It is fairly nifty!
