We are in the back of a quiet culdesac, and our kids can okay in the street.
We can walk to our neighbirhood pool, which we do almost daily in the summer.
Our master bedroom and bathroom are HUGE (even houses $100-200k more than ours don't have a master suite anywhere near as big as what we have).
We have skylights in our bathrooms which provide so much natural light that we rarely flip on the lights.
We back up to a wooded walking path, and we can walk to parks, school, shopping, etc.
Our neighbors are awesome.
The laundry room is upstairs near the bedrooms (at this point in life, I'm not willing to schlep up and down stairs with multiple loads of laundry a day).
We have hardwoods throughout the house...including upstairs in each bedroom.
Every contractor that has come into our house has commented on our stone fireplace. Apparently it's some sort of high end stone that covers the entire wall (sort of looks like a lodge). Thank you to the previous owners
The one thing we are missing is a proper walk in pantry, but I have a plan to add one soon.
Oh, and I wish we had a mud room with a door (because my living room has become a dumping ground for all kinds of sports gear, shoes, backpacks, etc.).
