For a spin on traditional, check out DGS - they cater and do platters that might be a twist on what people expect.

that said, everyone loves bagel platters. Delegate ordering if you can.

Yeah, I admire you trying to mix it up, but bagles, lox, and whitefish really is about as good as it gets.

Don't over think it. No one will care or remember. Do bagels and lox and whitefish and get a different cake if you want something different. It's a bris. People like easy and bagels. We used Bethesda Bagels (including their box of coffee) and got a small cake from Giant. It was at 2pm on a winter Friday. 18 people came.

We may be doing something similar coming up, and I like the idea above of hummus and babaganoush and things like that. Easy and cheap enough to find some inexpensive packaged ones, add pita, Israeli salads etc. Yum. I think this is exactly what I may end up doing myself

Lebanese Taverna. You can do a good mix of different hummus, baba ganoush, and finger foods, along with pita and some salads.

We are expecting our second son. For the first ones bris we did a bagel spread with different deli salads, lox etc. it was good but wanting to do something a little different for the second. It will be a very small group. Probably around 10 people. Suggestions? Does not need to be kosher.
