I had totally forgotten about Outback Red. I remember begging my mother to let me get a Benetton sweatshirt in the late 80s. "All of the girls have them!" So, she got one for me. I washed it with a brand new red shirt and it turned pink. I was embarrassed to wear it but she insisted b/c it cost so much. All of the girls wanted to know where I got a blue and PINK Benetton sweatshirt

Look! Someone is selling the same one of Ebay for $168.00

ah blucher mocs with a cute little plaid skirt and a slouchy shaker knit sweater & bob. can't understand why my big hair experiment happened after a sane style moment like that.

and of course, stirrup pants. that was before elastane.

I loved my various tretorns, but I think my fave were the ones with the plaid logo. I definitely remember outback red and the endless Forenza sweaters.

Also -- Esprit!

These were the brands most popular in the 80's when I was in middle school. Ked's too but not as much. Anyone else want to go down memory lane with me? Outback red was the brand at the Limited. Beneton was popular too.
