I am under the exact same assumption myself OP since most men are not as insightful and knowledgeable about relationships as women are.

I wouldn't even say it's the "birthing kids" that makes us wise. I think it's the fact that we are more tied into the emotional side of things, and, being mothers, that "really changes a woman," as the PP said. I am an adoptive mom and I never gave birth but the act of motherhood itself is the game-changer, I believe.

Not so wise on this thread I see.... more like: catfights. Welcome to dcum. Ha, it is what it is. Wouldn't change it.

I'm a woman and I agree with you. There are some men that post insightful advice but it's mostly woman. I think the reason (one of the reasons) is that woman are more into the 'self help genre' so they are more emotionally evolved - or perhaps have the facade of emotional involvement. Plus we birth kids and that really really changes a woman, good or bad.

There are high EQ men out there, but they are usually with some narcissistic female partner and are too busy dealing with that to post on a message board.

Perhaps. But your spelling and your modestly could stand to be improved.

Seriously, the irony.... Get your own house in order before you start throwing insults.
But I'm curious PP, what advice is needed on physics that would merit a mention? Or was that a typo?

Mine was a typo. Conceited one's was a misspelling. There's a difference. Learn it. You'll be better for it.

Mine was a genuine question, PP. I seriously was wondering and admitted that I thought perhaps it was a typo. No need to lash out at me.

Hugs.

Fuck off.
Signed, woman.

whenever someone vents and the response is "hugs," you can be pretty sure that is from a woman.

Just curiosity. As a guy, I find that the truly wise pieces of advice here have a touch of "womanhood" (for lack of a better word) that I don't usually find when I talk to male friends.

Well, there are more women than men on these forums, so I'd guess women are responsible for much of the wise advice. Of course they're also probably responsible for many unhelpful, narky responses too...
