I think its MAP-P. I asked the teacher for the scores last year and she never got them.

My first grader took this test yesterday. I had no idea about it. I thought the county informed parents of testing.

I understand that MAP-P includes all early primary skills - phonological awareness, number sense computation etc. If they are giving him MAP -M in 2nd grade, how does one interpret score - he seems to think he did well - but he also thought he was being sent in there to play video games (ah to be as carefree as a 7 year old)

Map-p is the test. It is given to k-2 graders in the county.

MAP-P. MAP-M and MAP-R don't start until third grade, as I understand.

My second grader told me he was told to go into a room with his classmates and all of them had to sit at computers and put on headsets and take what he calls a math test. He said there were addition/subtraction/shapes/multiplication & division. - A lot of it they haven't covered in class and since they received their report card last week, I was wondering if this was some sort of standardized testing.
