Yes, unless you are installing a door in a mansion, it should not cost that much. If you do indeed have a mansion, ask your neighbors for a recommendation.

Btw, try signature hardware and local lumber yards. You need a good carpenter and there will be plenty there.

For master carpenter recs., would try Rick McDougal of RCM Enterprises.

We'd like to replace our very unattractive front door with something well designed and high quality. We did a check at Home Depot and Loews and were very disappointed in the selection.

Any recommendations for local sellers and/or online sellers that carrya good selection of front doors?
