+1. Except I grew up just leaving the bday cake right in the bakery box it came in, with slices of white bread attached to the exposed cake ends with toothpicks to keep the cake from drying out. It was always fine for a few days like that.

If you don't like cake for breakfast, chop and fry an onion and some potatoes, then add the cake, and serve with a fried egg on top and some hot sauce. Anything can be made into hash.

After my sons bar mitzvah we had so much leftover cake that we ran out of room. We gave two big pie es to the grandparents, and asked a couple of neighbors to store some for us. My husband brought some to work as well.

Slice it up, put it into containers, and put it in the fridge. Is it that difficult? Or do you have a midget fridge?

I wouldn't, especially since it is so warm out. Can't you cut it into slices, wrap in foil and then find space in the freezer and/or fridge?

I have leftover Bday cake and it won't all fit in the fridge and freezer can I leave it out overnight until I take it somewhere tomorrow? It does have a butter cream frosting if that makes a difference? It is from Giant.
