Gnocchi with vodka sauce. I'm pregnant and have been going easy on pasta and carbs but I allowed myself a free for all the other night. So worth it.

Braised short ribs with polenta from Osteria Marzano in Alexandria. It was downright unctuous. I am dying to go back and try the osso bucco.

A proscuitto, fig, and arugula pizza at Ovvio Osteria. Went after the Washington Post review and oh my gosh was it good.

The gyro at Del Ray Pizzeria surprised me. I had it on a Friday night and thought about it throughout the weekend. Ended up back there on Sunday to have another.
