Good point! Out the kids in daycare if its lena and you have to pay, and go do a lunch or picnic

You could go to Rustico in Alexandria and stop and get cupcakes afterward at Buzz. Or go to Chef Geoff's in Tysons - it has tablecloths. Or Jackson 20 or somewhere else in Old Town, and walk down to the waterfront after.

Our 9th anniversary is next week and we'd normally go to Trummer's in Clifton (we live in Springfield), but when we add in the cost of a babysitter, we think that will cost more than is prudent at this point. Any ideas for some place nice reasonably close (will ask my sister to watch the kids) that can accommodate a vegetarian and isn't too pricey?
