Miami of Ohio - http://miamioh.edu/admission/finaid/high-school/scholarships/miami-scholarships/merit.html. They will look at the weighted GPA (they did for my DD). Kids love it there, beautiful campus, and they have a great job placement and grad school placement track record.

DDs looking at Clemson now. Based on the stats OP posted, I think Clemson is a bit of a stretch for admission so my guess would be that the chances of merit money are nil.

A good place to start might be "colleges that change lives." There was a book and now I think there is a website, but essentially it lists liberal arts colleges that are underrated but deliver a great education but are not horrendously selective. A solid student there would definitely have a shot at a nice merit aid package at many of these schools.
