This is me.

Other people say my house smells just like "cat", but I don't smell it.

Honestly, it is gross and no one likes coming to your disgusting home.

When a 5000 sq ft house in Silver Spring ends smells like cat pee and feces, then something has gone horribly wrong especially if you only have 1 cat.

Where is there a 5000 sf house in silver spring?

Woodside, Woodmor, and North Sligo Hills?

You need to evaluate your priorities if...

I'm a cat lover, but cannot tolerate the smell of cat pee. Even a little. If you have a peeing cat, you need to stay on top of it or things get out of control and past the point of no return very quickly.

Not necessarily true. My sister bought a house that smelled like cat pee and they thought it would be fine once they painted and ripped up the carpets. Nope.
They had to sand and refinish all the floors throughout the house (they looked fine before). They may have also done a specialized cleaning from a serve-pro kind of company.
Buyer beware.

One of my friends just bought a house and the previous owners had a cat who peed and pooped everywhere. I can't believe they actually bought the house. I would have run away so fast (and I'm a cat lover). Apparently when they were cleaning the laundry room, they found dried cat shit behind the washing machine. I can't imagine paying a lot of money for a house that requires so much clean up. Although I suppose once they sanitize everything and rip out the carpet, it'll be like new.
