DC Jewish Community Center offers wonderful infant/parent classes -- including music, yoga, baby signs, etc., and also parenting workshops. The teachers were lovely, we learned many new things (yoga moves with babies! new songs to sing!), and we met and made friends with many other parents and their kids.

I wouldn't waste your money. You could give them just as much variety, if not more, by yourself at home or going to pool, parks, etc...Why pay for this . It is silly

Acorn Hill Waldorf Nursery in Silver Spring, MD (which has hands down the best outdoor play space of any nursery school that I have ever seen) and Potomac Crescent Waldorf School in Arlington, VA have parent & infant, and parent & toddler classes. I really enjoyed doing a once-a-week class at Acorn Hill last year. I kneaded bread dough, made my own knitting needles, wet-on-wet water colored, felted, sewed, cut and arranged flowers. All fun activities that I had little to no experience with previously! My son would join in with what I was doing or explore and play with the other children. He adored the puppet show story every class. Also, all of the food is organic and made from scratch in class... I loved that. http://acornhill.org/

I would also recommend the Music Together program. I have been taking my son to this program for over 2 years now and he has a great sense of rhythm and loves to sing and dance. The class is also a fun way to meet other parents with young children. We enjoy it so much that I plan to finish all 9 collections and then start Suzuki violin. http://www.musictogethermontgomery.com/
