Not close to NW, but the Mediterranean Market & Bakery in Alexandria has like 10+ different kinds of Zaatar to choose from (different countries have some different blends). I could just stand there all day sniffing the different bags. Mmmm....

Not NW, but saw it in the spice place at Union Market.

Thanks! A trip to Yekta will also give me a reason to stop at Joe's Noodle House, so that is a win-win.

It's been years, but I once went to a little market in the shopping center on New Mexico Ave where Chef Geoff's is to get some other Middle Eastern foods. Shemali's?

I have bought it there too- and at penzeys. The one at yekta was much larger and a fraction of the price. It's worth the 20 minute trip.

I got a big jar of it at Yekta in Rockville, but that's the best I can do. Good luck! LOVE IT.

I couldn't find any at the Whole Foods River Road last night. Anyone know where I can find this in NW DC?

Thanks!
