i HATE it. i thought it was the worst pasta ever and i am always surprised it gets such rave reviews.

It is my absolute favorite restaurant in DC!!! If you go with a group it's fun to get the sampler menu. That way you can try a little bit of many of their items. There specials are also quite good too. The only thing is I would recommend a reservation especially on the weekend. One night my husband and I drove there all the way across town and had to wait a good hour for a table to open up. We had a great time but ended up paying more for babysitting then we intended.

Yes, I've eaten at the one here in DC. The pasta in particular was delicious, but overall it was a little too pricey for my comfort.

The one in Florence is very good and popular. The two American versions (DC and San Diego) are nothing memorable IMO.

The pasta sampler and blueberry filet are my menu favorites
