Another idea to keep around is wax paper bags, we use them for snacks sometimes. I get the "Natural Value" brand at Whole Foods. Here is a link though:

I much prefer lunchskins to the chemicals of a ziplock bag

I have the lunchskins and used them a bit starting at the end of last school year. I'm not sure I like them. I run them through the dishwasher (upper rack), they seem to take on the dishwashing smell/taste and food seems to absorb some of the taste. Is it just me? I like the concept and really wanted to like them, but with the soap taste and some staining from jelly, etc. I just don't find them as sanitary and/or appealing.

I have two from happy-sacks.com that I've used for several years with no problems.

Oh, planet wise has sandwhich wraps as well, which are more versitile for wraping sandwiches, quesidillias, etc.

Lunchskins are the ones at MOMS and also sold at Pottery Barn Kids. I have some from Planet Wise, that have zippers and velcro. I like the ones with zippers better.

We use lunchskins. They are not perfect, but overall I am pretty happy with them. I have several that are still going strong after 4+ years.

I don't know what the brand is, but MOMs carry them, I think the only brand they have. I've had ours for three years of frequent (but not daily by any means) use.

Can anyone recommend a good durable brand? I've heard Neat-os are good but they're pricey! I suppose over the long run, it would be worth it...
