A football field is very large, they could have warmed up away from the injured player. Surprisingly, a classless act by Gonzaga.

The injured player is ok. He will have a full recovery.

You missed his point. Yes this was a blatant show of poor sportsmanship. Gonzaga could have warmed up well away from the injured player and perhaps in a less attention drawing manner.

I guess the Gonzaga coach didn't want his kids to get hurt b/c a very long game delay. I doubt you;ll experience a delay this long very often. Probably a rare occurance.

I was at the game last night (Gonzaga won 30-20).
One of the Good Counsel players was lying on the field with a spinal injury waiting for the ambulance to arrive. With all the precautions it delayed the game about 25 minutes or so. After about 20 minutes Gonzaga lined up their players and started pre-game calisthenics. Mind you this was not stationary stretching but a coach coordinated effort. The Gonzaga team were in lines and running drills e.g. high knees, side shuffle etc. There was a small group of GC coaches, parametric and the players parents only yards away from the Gonzaga team, now warming up.
The GC fans starting booing.
Although I do not think there was any malicious intent by Gonzaga I do think it was terrible and very unsportsmanlike. I was on the Gonzaga side, pretty close to the fence. When I saw one Gonzaga coach start calling and lining up the kids I could not believe what I was seeing.
