Wow, that's a lot of food. I think you're overdoing it.

I agree with PPs you don't need 3 main course tables. 1 is enough, 2 is more than generous.
If the meatballs are appetizers, I'd definitely up the count. If they're big ones for meatball subs, and not everyone's going to have one because you have other entrees, then 60 may be ok.

I would think about not doing pop. Juice boxes are more popular with the toddler set, and grownups don't really need it. I'd think about some flavored seltzers or some other kind of grown-up drink for the grownups. Also, a good coffee/tea setup is essential.
(If you keep the pop, up the count and remember diet for the diet drinkers.)

This is seriously the dumbest menu I have ever seen for a toddler bday party not to mention the over inflated guest list.

The kids are going to be screaming and melting down anywhere from arrival to 30 mintues including your kid because that is too many kids and adults and the overwhelm is going to be tough.

The adults are not going to have time to eat anything that requires a fork.

Serve snacks for the kids that they can grab with their fingers - goldfish, cheese cubes, etc, If you must do lunch pizza or chicken nuggets then juice boxes.

Adults - crackers, cheese, fruit

Cake and ice cream for dessert.

I've hosted several parties of this size.

In addition to ditching the Asian wraps, I would also ditch the nacho bar. Ziti, meatball subs, and pizza are PLENTY of work and should appeal to everybody. Increase the number of meatballs; if you have any leftover, you can always freeze them. Maybe add a green salad for grownups.

For the desserts, I would skip the brownies (although they take zero time to make). Cupcakes and rice crispy treats are more than enough.

I'd get 2x more drinks and no chix wraps.

I agree with this.

That's less than 2 meatballs per person. Just sayin.

OP here. Thanks for the feedback, I will pick up more drinks. I wanted to up the food somewhat since we have co workers and old family friends coming who dont have kids so I wanted to offer more then goldfish/pizza/cake!

The appetizer table plus the pizza would be more than enough based on the toddler parties I've been to.

Wow that is a lot of food and a lot of work. Not a chance I would do it but if you love to cook then go for it! Just know - if you want to cut back, that no one is expecting 3 main course tables at a toddler party.

That sounds like a very generous food spread! Can I come to the party? I agree with PP about having more water.

I'm impressed that you're making all that food!

Sounds like plenty! Agree with water suggestion and getting small bottles, like 8 ounces as folks don't drink all of the larger ones. How about a simple coffee and tea set up?

Sounds great and yummy! I would get more drinks, though, especially water.

Ok heres the deal: toddler birthday party with approx 35 adults and 30 children. I am making everything but the pizza. Please give your critiques.

Appetizer table: Veggie tray, fruit tray, chips/pretzels, 80 "pigs in a blanket"

Main course table: 3 crock pots of meat balls (approx 60 meatballs), 2 trays of baked ziti, trays of sub rolls and provolone cheese (to make a meatball sub), 2 sheet pizzas

Main course table 2: Nacho bar. Three crock pots, one with pulled chicken, one with chili and one with Mexican cheese sauce. Salsa and sour cream and a million nacho chips. Will put buns here too in case ppl want a pulled chicken sandwich.

Main course table 3: Asian chicken wraps. (served cold) approx 30 wraps that are cut into half.

Dessert table: 50 cupcakes, a tray of brownies, and a tray of rice krispie treats.

Is this enough food? I also have 48 cans of pop, 12 bottles of lemonade, 24 bottles of water, and 40 capri suns. *im renting our condo party center and that means no alcohol
