Yes - I have! Ridgewells absolutely can do a small dinner party beautifully. The can do anything large or small. I cannot recommend them more highly. I personally have used them when I chaired a major charity ball, for a nursery school family BBQ, for a small Christmas party in our home, a baptism party, a small Mother's Day brunch, etc. and I always get cakes from them for special occasions like baptisms, first communions, etc. (Their cakes are amazingly delicious and completely gorgeous.) My point is that they can do any type of event no matter the size. For some events they came with full staff, etc. and for some I just ordered food and did the rest myself. I would definitely call them. And no, I do not work for them; I am just a very satisfied customer.

Thanks for the recs. Both Ridgewells and Windows look great.

They can use your garage if you have one.

Why kind of prep or staging space do the caterers need?

We always do restaurant celebrations. But due to a recent death in the family somehow a party at home for a milestone birthday seems acceptable. But I've never done anything more than Maggianos-type catering. How/where do I start for a really nice dinner event for about 15 people? Food, flowers, linens, music, etc?? Thanks for ideas!
