OP Here. Thank you are for the replies. I followed many of your advice and stopped taking the HPTs since they were making me crazy. Finally got my beta yesterday - 1,908 at 14dp5dt!!

I tested out my trigger shot and it finally stopped getting lighter and got darker today at 6pt5dt. It never fully disappeared.

I got a + with a Wondfo and FRER at 10 DPO. Digital didn't register until 14 DPO.

As a word of caution, I would suggest waiting until the Beta. I actually tested out my trigger shot (using cheap pregnancy tests) and then about 36 hours before my Beta I did a HPT and got a positive (on a digital HPT, so no guesswork). I felt for sure I was pregnanty since I knew my trigger shot was out of my system. My blood work, 36 hours later, showed a negative. So hugely disappointed. Next time, I am not going to test in advance now that I know the heartbreak that is associated with a false positive and am passing that advice on to others.

No real need to wait for waiting until the Beta. By 9 days past a 5 dt the First Response will give you a pretty damn reliable result. But not until 9 days.

I agree with pp. I know it's hard to restrain yourself, but these tests don't always tell the full story.

Wait for the blood test. My HPT showed me negative when I was technically pregnant and it showed faint positive after RE confirmed a chemical pregnancy.

FRER's say they have a sensitivity of 25 mlU/hCG and digital's say they have a sensitivity of 50 mlU/hCG. I've seen women get faint lines on FRER's with betas as low as 9, so just give it another day or two if you must keep testing.

Stick to first response and wait until at least 9 days past a 5 day transfer to test to avoid the am I or aren't it thing!

I've read that the digital tests sometimes aren't as sensitive as First Response tests. So, wait another day and be sure to test with first morning's urine. It sounds very promising, though!

Is FRER getting darker faster? I would double down on testing, but that's me.

I know I shouldn't have, but I took took an hpt 6dp5dt. I got a faint (but obvious) line on a First Response. The next day I took a digital test that said Not Pregnant. The FRER again showed a line. Today (8dp5dt) the same thing - positive on FRER and negative on digital. Thoughts other than stop testing and wait for beta? I recently had an ectopic so am fearful of another.
