It's really nice.

Expect it to feel colder than DC, especially at night.

We did a trip in November, bring jackets. Get your layering down. It gets cold at night! It was great. Go for it.

We honeymooned in Italy in Oct and spent some time in Tuscany. Great time of year to go! Light jacket or sweater weather. Be sure to hire a driver to take you to the vineyards, many require appointments.

Beautiful-go! We were there last October, couldn't have been more perfect.

Concur with the above plus it should be crush time at the wineries, which is always fun. Great time to go.

+1. Crowds are gone but the weather is still nice.

It'll be a little chilly - think sweaters not down jackets. Water will be too cold o enjoy, but the crowds will be gone. I prefer summer there but Oct is nice.

Does anyone know what its like there in Oct? We were hoping to go sooner but it didn't work out. Is it worth it or too cold?
