The MCPS calendar still has 1/2 days for conferences so I am wondering how a school can justify not having them...

You can have a parent teacher conferece any time you want -- call the school and set one up. I think it's ridiculous and unproductive to have them all at the same time.

Which school is this?

At the back-to-school nights at our two MCPS elementary schools, there were sign-up sheets for the parent-teacher conferences.
