Sorry OP this was "in" two years ago an started to fade last year its on its way out and if you haven't been wearing it the whole time your going to look silly trying to pull it off now.

I don't think it's a matter of it being in or out. I had this type of hair (not as severe as Kardashian though) when I moved here from LA. I tried to find a colorist who could maintain my color but no one knew how to do it correctly. I just don't think that this type of trend is as on trend here in DC. I'd be wary unless you have someone who has great color technique. Otherwise you could end up looking like your preschooler dipped the end of your hair in color himself. And that is definitely out.

You mean the grown-out roots look? LOL!
Make sure you get some glaring white french tips with that. Maybe a nice spray tan, too. Go dark. You can never be too "tan".

I am going to the hairdresser's in a few days to get a professional color done, this is a treat since I usually do it myself. I want to do something nice for myself. I like the Ombre look. Esp. Kloe Kardashian's hair....I wish I had her stylist's contact info. LOL.
However, I have many friends who say this hair color is so last yr.
