And note that the dried Chorizo they call for is normally near the deli/fancy cheeses in the grocery store. I had to ask where it was the first time to find it.

For some starter ideas, you could check out Anthony Bourdain's Les Halles cookbook.
Also, google for recipes for jambalaya or cassoulet.

Thanks PP. I think it was just over $50 with tax. The sale was early December. I'm really a bad cook. It just sits and looks pretty in my kitchen.

Everything. I make everything in them. You brown your meats and get a great "crust" for stews, roasts, soups, etc. I make rice in there. I do spaghetti sauces, soups. I'm trying to think of what I don't do in it...I don't make eggs or grilled sandwiches.

Do you mind me asking how much Martha's big one was at Macy's?

They are beautiful and I bought one. 8 quart I think - second to largest size, Martha Stewart. Great sale at Macy's. It's gorgeous. But I don't know how to cook. What do I make in it.
