Us lucky (!) humans have a plethora of things to entertain us on a daily basis while poor felines have absolutely nothing but us. So they in turn stare at us.

OP, make sure your cat does not have a problem. My cat does this when there is a problem: Hairballs, litter box full, food making him sick, teeth hurting. Maybe you should look around and then try the vet. Unless you are joking?

My cat must be bored. He just lays around and watches me all day. He loves to watch everything I do. And I do the most mundane and boring things. I eat, watch T.V., text, etc. Yet he stares and stares as if these things entertain him.
It must be boring being a cat. No computer, T.V., books or magazines, telephones to entertain you. Only humans.
