Phelps is a trade school. How are you aware of these students grades and CAS scores?

13:47 - Don't flatter me, why would I need to hate. It is quite obivious that a GPA of certain ilk was required to get into the applications schools. So, one would assume if you fail to maintain at least a 2.0, it would be pre-requisite to move on.
Applications schools have criteria and if a significant numbered applied with a less than 2.0 would they even be considered?

Some colleges will outweigh your SATs with your GPA and vice versa.

OP, you sound like a hater? Maybe there were other circumstances surrounding the acceptances that you were not privy to.
I know that Phelps offers both a college preparatory and vocational education. I don't think McKinley is a vocational school but not sure.

Don't know much about these schools. Do the students learn a trade?

I know of a student who has less than a 2.0 but did extremely well on the DCCAS. I believe Phelps and McKinley are culprits of the low GPA harboring of students.
