I don't think so! The teachers expect the children, have them show their parents around, and there are snacks for kids and parents at a "social hour" in the cafeteria. The evening seems appropriate for families.

Anonymous wrote:I have NEVER been to a back to school night where kids didn't attend. Not only do they attend, they participate by welcoming people and helping with directions, and this year our middle schooler led us to all his classes.
A back to school night without students just seems weird to me.
