NP here. I didn't see where the OP said her/his spring break trips are open to the public but did say summer trips are.

What is the big deal? Either you will or won't name your school.

But the OP said her school's trips are open to the public so what is the harm in asking her to name the school? Especially when (s)he is asking others to do the same.

I would think most schools would not have an open door policy during spring break because of space limitations. During summer, many kids already have summer plans leaving open spaces at private schools for anyone. I'm not sure if public schools offer the same.

My DD's school offers an enjoyable one-week jaunt to Cancun.

I would assume the OP was expecting a tad more than a yes or no answer.

With that said, I am reluctant to name my school (trips not offered to outsiders) as not to provide a pissing match about whose school offers a better trip because they are a Big Five, charge more money than your piddly school, and whatever ridiculous reason that will be used to start a fight.

Nothing personal to you, OP.
No offense taken. Though, I see your point. I hadn't thought about a better than yours fight. However, anyone should feel free to post if you like.

Does your private offer spring break trips open to other US students at private schools? I'd like to keep options open for trips including community service trips. I know some private schools (including ours) have summer trips open to everyone.
