Mezze for a light lunch or afternoon snack. Cafe Ole does a great spread and yummy too. $100 for 35 people is tight though.

The Whole Foods on P street actually does a really nice, reasonably priced, job with trays.

I echo Costo. Just go there and see what they have, but they always have things that look good and you won't beat the price.

Tubs of bagels from panera go a long way and come with cream cheese. Maybe $25 for 2 dozen. You could supplement with fruit like water melon and some other items like muffins you can bake yourself. If it isn't a full meal extra baked goods and chips or veggies can stretch what you have available.

Costco wraps and sandwhich trays with pasta salad, fruit salad and a green salad or chips. Easy to do under 100$.

For less than $100 and 35 people, I would go with Costco or homemade. I don't know that you can get that much for that amount...

Port of Piraeus does catering; the trays look yummy when I've stopped in for breakfast. No idea what they charge, though.

I would do a taco station. A big skillet of ground beef and chicken, all the fixings, taco shells and tortillas. Inexpensive and delicious!

Get wraps from a local deli and have them cut them in 3's. Big bowls of potato salad and/or cold pasta salad. A tray of fruit, maybe a small crudite. I am sure you could do this for under 100. Good luck ,have done this many times and its always a hit.

Looking for inexpensive catering ideas to feed group of around 35. Could be breakfast (bagels?) or lunch / afternoon snack. Trying to stay away from cupcakes and dessert trays. Pizza would work, but that's a little boring. Would like to spend $100 or less. This doesn't have to be a full meal. Any ideas? Thought about a nacho bar - would somewhere like Austin Grill do that? Unusual ideas get top marks! Thanks.
