I liked Masala Walk. Saravana Bhavan in fairfax has indo-chinese, as does Minerva. Minerva Express in Arlington has a takeout joint that has Gobi Manchurian and the like.

Penang is not good. Try Sate food truck. Indonesian, but very similar to Malay food.

Try Malaysian style:
Penang, Bethesda, MD and DC
Malaysian Kopitiam, DC
Straits of Malaysia, DC
I've tried the first 2. Love it. Quite authentic.
You may already know, Malaysia is a melting pot of South Asians, East Asians, Chinese and natives. You can even try Thai food: Ruan Thai and Nava Thai in Wheaton.
Greenbelt is not exactly the best place to get Asian food.

Sorry I was thinking of indo-Chinese food, Asian fusion on rte 1 is good. Try the buffet. If you are talking about food from NE India, I don't know of anyplace around here. What dishes were you thinking about?

There used to be a restaurant in Greenbelt that exclusively carried food from the part of India that borders china. Very spicy food. They are gone. Any restaurants, preferably in DC or NoVA that carry this?
