This has got to be a fake post because its just beyond crazy that you'd let your child do this or fall for this.

Gay teenagers do a lot of experimenting. And kissing. And fondling.

Bad idea.

Since when is sleeping in the same bed as you best friend (both females) a sign of having sex? You've never done that?

Even the women on Golden Girls slept in the same bed together when there were guests or a situation where the people outnumbered the amount of beds.

This is what I'm thinking. Gay or not I would not allow my teenager to sleep in the same bed as her gay "guy" friend. Sorry!

My daughters occasionally shared their bed with a same sex friend for sleepovers when we didn't have a spare bed but that ended by age 7 or so.

OP here.

DD shares bed with her friends all the time. We don't have an extra bed and she has a Queen size.

Everyone is gay till they are naked in bed with a member of the opposite sex.

Yeah, no. I wouldn't allow this.

I'm aware of a few incidents from my youth where sleepovers were permitted on the basis of being "gay" when really it was just a ruse to get the sleepover.

The thread about teens having sex made me think about this from a few weeks ago.
Anyway.. more to the point, a few weeks ago my DD had her friend spend the night. This was a male friend and she prefaced asking if he could stay by telling me that "oh he is gay mom!". I like to think that my "gaydar" is functional but this guy did not read gay to me at all. Anyway, I let him stay, and they slept in her bed. I don't know if anything happened, but she maintains her story of how this guy is gay. What would you think in this scenario?
