Nevermind. 20 minutes later and the whole kitchen still smells foul. That can't be a good sign.

opened a package of pork tenderloin this morning to throw in the crockpot and was immediately hit by the smell.. sort of like that egg sulfur smell. the sell by date isn't until tomorrow, I just bought it Monday. And it was one of those pre-packaged things (not seasoned) from Smithfield or something, not cut and packaged by the grocery store. Ugh. I know, when in doubt, throw it out. Any chance raw meat can just stink and still be totally fine to eat?
