We found the best deal on hardwood at Home Depot, but they were having a big sale at the time.

For countertops, the best price we found was at EuroStoneCraft in Herndon, but we didn't do granite. Personally, I wouldn't use polished granite for a remodel. Go with honed or use something less dated, like quartz or soapstone.

I also suggest looking at Lumber Liquidators. For granite, consider GraniteWorks on Taft St in Rockville. There's also a hole in the wall joint on Oakmont (off Shady Grove near Post Office) near the railroad tracks on the right side that I considered when looking for my home.

We recently bought our hardwood at Lumber Liquidators in Beltsville, and were happy with it.

Bought our countertops at Flintstone Marble & Granite in Rockville and also had a good experience, though we bought quartz.

I am looking for a place to buy roughly 800 sq ft of hardwoods (will install ourselves) and also any recommendation on getting good price on granite counter tops as well.

I prefer place in Montgomery County, but if its good price, I don't mind driving.

Thanks in advance.
