This time of year there are several doctors that do "new patient" checkups mostly for kids playing school sports but for whatever reason don't have a regular doctor.

My Doctor in Hyattsville, Dr. Armenta, usually takes us next day, or even same day.

Personally, I would cancel the dental work and reschedule after getting a physical with the regular ped.

Full anesthesia has side effects and having suffered from them I just won't take chances.

Is there any place in DC or close in MD where I can take my child to get a physical? She is going under anesthesia for some dental work and needs clearance beforehand. Her regular pediatrician cannot fit her in this week.
